Every contribution helps our theater program thrive

Supporting our thespians is fun and helps theater to thrive at Austin High! We love our community and hope you will join us by volunteering, donating, or serving as a booster club officer. Fill out the Volunteer Survey or contact stacyweb172@gmail.com. Thank you!

Whether you choose to become a Season Sponsor, provide or serve cast meals, or help with our concessions crew, your support is invaluable. We also need volunteers to staff our Booster Club table on show nights, assist with social events, or join our fundraising committee. There are leadership roles available for those ready to take on more responsibility. Your involvement will ensure the success of our productions and create a vibrant community around the arts at Austin High!

Fair Share Fee for Theatre Production students

The Austin High School Theatre Department receives a basic per-student stipend from AISD for necessary supplies, but it does not come close to covering the many expenses required to run an award-winning theatre department. This annual fee applies to students enrolled in Theatre Production, which appears as a 9th period class on your student's schedule.

The 2025–26 Fair Share Fee is $100

Funds from the Fair Share Fee will be used to supplement production expenses like photography, guest artists, and licensing fees, as well as to provide meals for actors and crew during rehearsals and performances. Additionally, these funds support student social events — including the annual holiday party and end-of-year Gala — and provide scholarships for the Thespian festival, letter jackets, and honor stoles and cords.

Benefits include a membership to the RDP Booster Club at the Supporter level and, for your student, the latest RDP t-shirt and a professional head shot — a combined value of over $150.
