We also need volunteers to staff our Booster Club table on show nights, assist with social events, or join our fundraising committee. There are leadership roles available for those ready to take on more responsibility. Fair Share Fee for Theatre Production Students
The Austin High School Theatre Department receives a basic per-student stipend from AISD for necessary supplies, but it does not come close to covering the many expenses required to run an award-winning theatre department. This annual fee applies to students that are enrolled in Theatre Production, which appears as a 9th period class on your student's schedule.
The 2024-25 Fair Share Fee is $75
Funds from the Fair Share Fee will be used to supplement production expenses like photography, guest artists, and licensing fees, as well as to provide meals for actors and crew during rehearsals and performances. Additionally, these funds will support student social events, including the annual holiday party and end-of-year Gala, and provide scholarships for the Thespian festival, letter jackets, and honor stoles and cords.
Benefits include a membership to the RDP Booster Club at the Supporter level and, for your student, the latest RDP t-shirt and a professional head shot-- a combined value of over $150.
See below for payment options.
To pay through Venmo, add “Fair Share Fee” and the student’s name and t-shirt size as a note.
Contact the RDP Treasurer to pay by check or other means, or to ask about a scholarship.

The Red Dragon Theatre Booster Club is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization established in 2004 by the theater directors and parents to provide moral and financial support to the theater department and the Red Dragon Players.
The booster club has organized fundraisers, hired guest directors, provided funding for student scholarships to attend summer workshops, purchased costumes and equipment, and sponsored the annual Awards Gala.
